Children & Family Service

This service is available to children and family members living in Clackmannanshire, Stirling and Falkirk council areas. Support is delivered free of charge in person, online and via telephone.

Child abuse is defined as physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional abuse or neglect experienced under the age of 18. We recognise the lasting impact that child abuse can have on wellbeing and offer a range of fully-funded services delivered by a caring team of experienced practitioners.

We support children and young people through:

Emotional support sessions
Counselling
EMDR
Group work

We support adult family members through:

Psychoeducation sessions and group work – this may involve peer support groups, understanding the impact of trauma and how to support young people

We understand that everyone’s experience is individual to them, and the support we offer is tailored around personal needs and goals and delivered free of charge.
